Special Events

Demonstration Team:
At Premier Martial Arts LLC, we put together a special team called out Demonstration Team or for short, 'Demo Team'. This is the opportunity for the student to show what they've learned. The karate school will be invited to perform a demonstration for a group of people. It could be at a work picnic, a special fundraiser event like the 'Relay for Life', Or it could just be at a fun place like the Wausau Center Mall. But at any place, we'll put on a fun show of our students showing their karate techniques. We open this team up to ALL students and we hold our practices on Friday evenings at 7pm.

Premier Float

Parades:
Along with Demo's, we also get a chance to walk in parades. The past few years we walked in the Schofield Funday's Parade, Wausau Labor Day Parade and the United Way Parade. We build a Premier Martial Arts float. Then as we walk with the float we'll show some of our cool moves that we practiced a the karate school. The kids have a blast getting a chance to see so many people.

Cake Cutting

Birthday Party:
Having trouble deciding what to do for your next birthday? Have you ever considered a 'Karate' Birthday Party? We offer a birthday party package that includes, some fun karate lessons, games like dodge ball, pizza and refreshments. Typically the parties run about 2 hours, and the kids are always wanting to stay longer. This opportunity is open to all kids, even if they aren't a student at the karate school. It's a fun way for a child to get the chance to learn some cool karate stuff.

Break and Kick a thons:
One of the most fun parts of Martial Arts is the opportunity to break boards. Every year we typically hold a break-a-thon and a kick-a-thon at the karate school. All students are welcome to come break boards or kick for 1 hour. We hold these events as a fundraiser to help keep kids off the streets. Look in the calendar for the next Break or Kick-a-thon coming up.

Halloween Costumes

Haunted House/Halloween Party:
One the most celebrated holidays at the karate school is Halloween. The school is transformed from the everyday looking DO JO, to a Scary Haunted House. Most students don't even recognize the karate school. Then we'll invite the students, their family and friends to come enjoy the party. First for those who dare, they can enter thru the Haunted House and afterwards enjoy a fun Halloween Party full of Dancing and candy. The hours are 7-10pm the Saturday closest to Halloween.

Hay Rides:
The best way to welcome in Fall is going on a Hay Ride. Taking a hay ride, roasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate ......sounds like Fall. Depending on the location, we can also take a stroll through a corn maze, Who know's what you'll find waiting for you in the corn.

New Year's Eve Lock In:
If you're having trouble finding a babysitter for New Years Eve, look no further your problems are solved. We host a New Year's Eve Lock in from 7pm-9am for students and friends. As long as you are 5 years old and older, and for a modest fee of $25 per person. You can go out and enjoy the New Year knowing your kids are safe and most likely having a blast.

Glow Chuck Seminar:
Thru out the year, we'll hold special weapons courses. One of those special courses is the Glow Chuck Seminar. The student will get the opportunity to try their luck at twirling around a set of nunchakus.....IN THE DARK. The nunchucks are filled with glow sticks which make them illuminate the karate school..
